We’re a bit different in the bush - the big city approach to skills development is not relevant out here. We like to push the boundaries a bit - go beyond the borders of courses from the more conventional places.

We Know Computers

"..this is the nut and this is the brace..this is the.."
How Did She Learn to do That?
You've got heaps of skills and enjoy passing them on (who trained the dog to do that!). You like to have a go at learning new skills (who'd ever thought that riding a unicycle could be that ..challenging?) You know a real lot too and like to keep that knowledge bank topped up.

Well here's a career opening for you - Get with Training & Assessment.
There's no formal prerequisites - personal qualities - well the ability to laugh at yourself is definitely a must.

You can train in absolutley anything you like - just get the market research right - there may not be much call for Tasmanian Tiger Grooming, but then again
there may well be.
Choose Your Partner With Care

Choose Your TAA Provider
(TAA? - that's Training And Assessment; Provider - the mob that you pay to provide you with the course)

Prices vary of course so choose what suits you. But price (like good looks) may not be the only consideration.

What about these qualities?
1. Can you fast-track the course? - after all you want to get qualified pretty soon - in a time frame
that suits you.
2. Does the provider speak your language? - or can you sense the nose wrinkle when you mention that you work outdoors/in a factory/with cattle/in a trade...
3. Are the books an extra cost, and are they worth the money?
4. Can you get a sample lesson?

Over the years we have mentored students through training & assessment courses with a number of providers. Here's a few of them.
